Examination of behavior of lysine on methane (95%)–propane (5%) hydrate formation by the use of different impellers

Abstract Hydrate formation characteristics and hydrodynamic behavior have been investigated for mixture of methane–propane hydrate with pure water the amino acid lysine 1.5 wt% at 24.5 bars 2 °C. There were total 12 experiments full no baffle estimating induction time, rate formation, productivity power consumption. The outcomes showed that radial flow better compared to mixed ones due interaction between gas liquid. Furthermore, formed hydrates more quickly showing functions as promoter not inhibitor. RT consume energy PBT ones, while time is always smaller in ones.
